ROSEWOOD SÃO PAULO

Creation and tradition pulsating in the heart of city

Rosewood São Paulo

São Paulo, São Paulo

From street art to indigenous art, from raw materials to design, everything in this hotel was made by Brazilians. Under the direction of designer Philippe Starck, over 50 Brazilian artists occupied the spaces with sculptures, paintings, installations, furniture and various expressions. Preserving the historic architecture and absorbing the city’s creative pulse, Rosewood São Paulo has become a contemporary art museum with exclusive works by Regina Silveira, Vik Muniz and other talented creators. A testament to the Italian cultural influence and neighboring Avenida Paulista, the neoclassical building of Maternidade Matarazzo, formerly a maternity hospital where over 500,000 São Paulo residents were born, was subjected to a meticulous restoration. The old delivery rooms have given way to the Matarazzo signature suites and, in addition to these private accommodations, there are also guest rooms distributed in the Atlantic Forest Tower, with its vertical gardens designed by renowned architect Jean Nouvel. The Asaya Wellness Center & Fitness Club, as well as the food, are sure to win over those who come from afar and fill the hearts of São Paulo locals with pride.
