Mambaí, Goiás
The meeting point of the three states, Minas Gerais, Goiás and Bahia, inspired the name of the pousada that stands on three pillars of sustainability: social, economic and environmental. Of its 33,000 hectares, over 90% is dedicated to the conservation of the cerrado, forming, alongside Grande Sertão Veredas National Park, an ecological corridor like few others in Brazil. Thanks to its projects, endangered species such as the maned wolf and the giant anteater can already be seen, living free and protected. With only seven highly-disputed lodges, Trijunção avoids any interference in the environment and allows each guest to enjoy a personalized itinerary. The experiences go beyond the contemplation of nature on safaris that can take place in the light of day or under the stars, by kayak, on bike or on foot. The proposal is that, by spending a few days in the region, discovering its lush nature, travelers can also become a guardian of the biome. After all, you have to know it in order to preserve it.
